Council Descriptions:

Purpose:     Facilitating the accountability of the community strategies falling under education, income, and health and ensuring the integration of that work to achieve community outcomes.  Responsibilities:  The Impact Councils will have responsibilities over six major functions relative to the area of focus that they represent:   Planning                               Monitoring community needs and conditions, defining community outcomes, and identifying the resources necessary to impact each result   Strategy Development           Developing innovative and evidence-based means of achieving community results   Investment                            Managing the investment of resources designed to produce desired community outcomes   Diversity & Inclusion            Acknowledging, embracing and responding to community differences and ensuring community impact efforts acknowledge and respond to racial disparities   Evaluation                            Measuring and reporting results at the agency program level and at the community level
