Each individual requesting help from the Vision Rehabilitation Center is assigned a case manager who delivers services in the client's home.  The following services are tailored according to the individuals needs.

LOW VISION EVALUATIONS
Home visits are conducted to evaluate consumers using the existing lighting conditions.  Treatment plans usually including provision of low vision aids, lamps, and instruction in their use. (Available also by appointment at the Center's Office.)

HOME TRAINING
Teaching of daily living skills and provision of adaptive equipment.

CASE MANAGEMENT
Including coordination of services and referrals.
 
THERAPEUTIC RECREATION
Including crafts, community outings and volunteer activities to enhance self-esteem and socialization
 
SUPPORT & GUIDANCE
Including support groups for clients and families.
 
VISION SCREENINGS
To detect early warning signs of vision problems
 
TRANSPORTATION
To Vision Rehabilitation Center sponsored activities.
 
VOCATIONAL SERVICES
Including job readiness, development, placement and coaching.
 
TALKING BOOKS AND RADIO READING SERVICES.
 
VOLUNTEER SERVICES
The Center utilizes the individual talents of volunteers for many programs like transportation, therapeutic recreational activities and vision screenings.

Regardless of size, each gift and donation allows the Center to continue to address the needs of the visually impaired of Central & Southeastern Ohio.
