Dave Levacy, 2017
Commissioner Dave Levacy was elected Commissioner in December 2012. Commissioner Levacy is a lifelong resident of Fairfield County. He attended Bishop Fenwick and Ohio University with studies in business. Commissioner Levacy is a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1965 to 1967. Before and after his Army service, Dave was employed by Anchor Hocking Glass in the accounting department. In 1970 Dave joined Millersport Marina and subsequently purchased the company in 1990. Changing the name to Buckeye Lake Marina, he continues to operate the business today.
Commissioner Levacy also served with Millersport/Walnut Township Fire Department as a paramedic and as Chief. After retiring from the Fire Department, Dave served as Millersport Village Council President for 12 years. Dave also serves on the Fairfield County Republican Executive Committee. Dave has served as past President of the Buckeye Lake for Tomorrow, the State of Ohio Marine Dealers Association and the Central Ohio Marine Dealers Association.
With his duties as Commissioner, Dave serves on the following committees: Fairfield County Board of Revision, CFLP Solid Waste District, Multi-County Juvenile Detention Center Joint Board, Revolving Loan Fund Committee, 9-1-1 Technical Committee, RC & D Executive Committee, Workforce Investment Board (WIB/WIA), Regional Planning Fairfield County Tax Incentive Review Council (TIRC), Family Adult Children First Council (FACF), Prevention Works and GIS Committee.
Commissioner Levacy resides in Millersport with his wife Ann of 46 years. They have three children, Amy, Aaron and Tim. They have four grandchildren and are members of Walnut Creek Baptist Church.
Jeff Beard, 2018
Jeff Beard has served as President and CEO of Standing Stone Bank and SSNB, Inc. since January 2013. Jeff joined the Bank in August 2007 as Vice President, Cashier and Chief Financial Officer of the Bank, and Treasurer of SSNB, Inc. Jeff was elected to the Board of Directors for both the Bank and SSNB, Inc. in May 2011. Previously, Jeff audited financial institutions with Crowe Horwath and also was a manager of financial reporting at Wendy's International, Inc. Jeff received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Tiffin University, a Master of Business Administration degree from Capital University, completed the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Jeff previously fulfilled a six year term on the United Way of Fairfield County Impact Council and currently serves on the Lancaster Rotary Board of Directors, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fairfield County Board of Directors, Fairfield 33 Development Alliance Board of Directors, Ohio Bankers League BankServices Board of Directors, the Tiffin University Alumni Association Board of Directors and has completed the Fairfield Leadership program. Jeff, his wife Michelle and their three children reside in Fairfield County.
Angela Krile, 2019
Angela Krile, president of Krile Communications, has more than 20 years of experience in helping to develop and implement strategic communications effort for organizations that range from small non-profit organizations to large, international corporations.
Her career has taken her backstage at the Victoria's Secret Fashion show; behind the scenes at Cirque du Soleil; to meetings with CEOs of Fortune 500 corporations; and inside the offices of local, state and national lawmakers. Angela has a keen understanding of effectively harnessing both the small-town grapevine and the power of big-city "PR," allowing her to help any size organization communicate to any size audience to meet their communications objectives.
A native of Sugar Grove, Ohio, Angela received her degree at the prestigious E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University and has served on Ohio University's National Alumni Board.
Ms. Krile was named to the 2006 class of Business First's "Forty Under 40," is a member of the Leadership Columbus class of 2006 and the Public Relations Society of America, and serves as a volunteer with numerous community organizations. She has been a featured speaker on communications issues with numerous business organizations, Iowa State University, Ohio University, Capital University and The Ohio State University.
Angela and her husband, Greg – a high school math teacher – live on a farm in southeastern Ohio with their two sons.
